Ann Howe credits University of Phoenix for helping her achieve her professional and personal goals. Today she is content as a successful career woman who juggles her time as a teacher, wife, and mother. After meeting Angela Gulick through mutual friends a couple of years ago, she seized the opportunity to help change Angela’s life for the better through the Paying It Forward scholarship program. Ann is inspired by the many ways Angela helps ease the lives of others and thought this was the perfect way to reciprocate.

Angela Gulick is one of those people with a true passion for helping others. In addition to raising her four young energetic boys, this wife and mother volunteers as the Phoenix chapter coordinator of MOPS. It’s a group for Mothers of Preschoolers that brings together women with different lifestyles who share a similar desire to be the best moms they can be. Angela aspires to become a healthcare professional and plans to begin the online healthcare administration program this spring. Her academic goal is to graduate with her bachelor’s degree in time to enter the workforce when her youngest child begins kindergarten.
